Officer Thomas M. Rees was killed in a training accident.

Officer Rodney W. Schreurs was killed by a drunken driver while directing traffic following a fireworks demonstration.

Deputy Charles H. Dickey, Jr. lost his life in a single-car rollover while responding to a report of domestic violence.

Trooper Daniel W. Harris was killed in a motorcycle crash.

Sergeant Ronald L. Heaps was shot and killed while investigating a suspicious person call.
